Gravitational Perceptions (Bronze)

Everything has already happened

Everything has already happened
by the time the light reaches us.
We arrive late for the appointment
with our life
- in fact, we didn’t even arrive.
We are pure past-.

Description The sculpture depicts the artist seated with a bird perched on her hand, ready to take flight.
Its placement in the open-air invites reflection on the relationship between humans and the environment.
The title 'Gravitational Perceptions' represents the artist's ability, through her creative exploration, to fly freely like a bird, almost defying gravity.
The artistic dialogue unfolds between the subject, the observer, and the space in which the work resides. This outdoor setting ideally dissolves the boundaries between art, spectator, and landscape. To enrich the experience, the visitor hears the music inspired by the sculpture, composed by Florentine pianist Ale Rapisardi, who has previously scored works by Mikaya Petros.
In a world where art questions the possibilities of being, this installation stands as a symbol of freedom and transformation. It invites us to break the chains of the ordinary and explore the infinity of our potential, urging us to see the world with new eyes and perceive the beauty of the invisible.
